One of the most important things you must do as a goalkeeper is make sure your padded up correctly. Especially with more football getting played on astro turf.

Even though most astro turf surfaces are safe to dive on what the bigger problem is… is burns off the turf. As a goalkeeper myself of many years, I will tell you right now that this is one of the most painful things a goalkeeper can have

So if you’re a goalkeeper (or a parent of a young goalkeeper especially) make sure your padded up!
